Trent Biliary Surgery was formed in 2009 to provide patients and General Practioners throughout the East Midlands with a new, high quality service for gallbladder, liver and pancreas surgery.
Trent Biliary Surgery provides weekly clinics at the BMI Park Hospital, Nottingham; the Castle Consulting Suite in Nottingham City Centre and regular clinics at the BMI Lincoln Hospital. TBS are based at the BMI Park Hospital, Nottingham where, with its up to date imaging facilities, benign and malignant hepatobiliary conditions can be fully investigated. Weekly operating lists are undertaken at the BMI Park Hospital, Nottingham. With an experienced theatre team, regular anaesthetists and reliable access to the Critical Care Unit at the Park Hospital, complex HPB surgery can be performed including liver resection and pancreas cancer surgery (Whipples). TBS specialises in laparoscopic gallbladder surgery and also provide a range of laparoscopic and open surgical procedures for other benign HPB and general surgical conditions including

TBS is a Consultant partnership formed by two Nottingham Hepatobiliary, Laparoscopic & General Surgeons, Mr Adam Brooks and Mr Iain Cameron. Working as part of a partnership TBS provides an efficient and responsive patient focused service that improves access to specialist surgeons and reduces the time from referral to surgical procedure. The TBS partnership allows greater flexibility, with a seamless Consultant service for complex post-operative patients as well as a 24-hour emergency HPB and general surgical service at the BMI Park hospital.
